About Me
Early career Cybersecurity professional looking to expand their knowledge of the industry through projects, labs, and professional work.
My Journey
From a young age, I was always fascinated by computers. At first it began from an interest in gaming with friends but then it grew into more. I realized the power that comes with computers and all that can be accomplished with them.
This led me to pursuing a major in Computer Science where I studied in the discipline of development including frontend and backend work. This helped me develop a strong backbone in systems and various coding languages.
Eventually, I found myself gaining an interest in cybersecurity while recognizing it's importance in maintaining the integrity and privacy of our digital world. With the world continuously becoming more digital, this impact cannot be understated.
Looking forward, I'm focused on growing my expertise in all that comes with the industry including threat detection, security architecture, and much more. I strive to bring positive contributions to the broader cybersecurity community and continue to diversify my skillset in the process.

Life Outside of Cybersecurity
When I'm not working or studying for a certification, I typically find myself seeking a new challenge. I've always been drawn to sports like rock climbing, snowboarding, and soccer. I find that these activites serve as the perfect way to give my mind a rest. Away from the field, I'm often teaching myself a new musical instrument which have been a great learning experience that can continue for the rest of my life.
My curiousity for how things work naturally extends into my downtime, where I recently have immersed into projects like video game emulation. What started as a hobby led me down the rabbit hole of hardware optimization and file system management, eventually prompting me to experiment with dual-booting a linux based frontend for my emulation needs called Batocera. This has aided me in sharpening my familiarity with Linux based environments serving as the perfect intersection of technical tinkering and nostalgia.
